The vastness of the Internet also gives people the opportunity to see things. In the past seven or eight years, I have contacted tens of thousands of customers for consultation, and have completed more than 350 complete designs, from the most basic restoration of dimensions to drawings, conception, construction drawings, on-site tracking… Although this output is not the highest, at least it is a highly productive young designer. There are not many house types that can surprise me. But I often feel hesitant, how long do I have to stay here?

Some designs will succeed, and some will fail. Every design is done with care. In this country and in this environment, there are not many that can promise customers that they will do things with care.
A serious designer’s initial vision for a design may even exceed that of the owner, but the failure to continue is often caused by many factors. Just like a relationship, there is often no right or wrong when breaking up, and investment does not necessarily lead to perfect output. This saying is very suitable for the design industry. No designer is willing to make a crappy work to ruin his own brand for a small amount of design fees.
Embarking on this journey is not easy. You are choosing the right designer, and I am also vigilant in carefully weighing the priorities. A wrong decision will often cause pain to both parties.
There are many people who pursue fame and fortune, and sometimes you don’t even know if they are doing good things. I have some friends who went through various competitions, bidding, and debauchery, and went to famous design companies one after another. They planned to move from one place to another every year, and participated in many famous projects, even if they left before they were completed. They also share their design ideas and pursuits endlessly with ignorant outsiders. They brought home medals one after another, talked non-stop at gatherings, and were beaming with joy. Design fees increased every quarter, and they used trophies and honors to win trust. Every gathering always brought with it a look of dust and experience, as well as contempt. But I can only sit and drink tea quietly, and I am still holding on to the one-third of an acre of land.
If you can’t go faster, slow down. I always hope to do something more seriously, but often there are many things beyond my control, including thoughts, behaviors, habits, qualities, conduct, and national conditions. . . Habits are like a cocoon, and it always takes courage to break through.
To be honest, I am also hesitant. Perseverance will always usher in the dawn, but no one dares to give you confidence in where the future lies.
In this social whirlpool, it is getting faster and faster. The experience of previous generations is often not enough to guide future generations on what to do. Although there are a lot of ethical scriptures that seem to have conclusive evidence, people who believe in it are far from being able to communicate with people who do not believe in it. They looked at each other, but they both had doubts in their hearts.
I keep traveling, exploring, and photographing, hoping to bring back the best, the worst, and the most ordinary things in this world. Even the photos, I can look at them carefully, one by one.
Only when you understand the ways of the world can you understand the truth, and comparatively speaking, can you read the design ideas. I have always believed that this is the highest realm of design, and I insist on moving forward.
Home decoration design has always been the lowest level in the design world. People in the industry are trying hard to squeeze in, hoping to get involved in projects such as clubs, hotels, KTVs, high-end restaurants, etc. No matter whether it can be completed or not, after participating, you will have bragging rights. In comparison, I'm a bitch.
I used to not understand why home decoration design was classified as the lowest end in the design industry, but now I seem to understand: it is because we are dealing with people. Instead of dealing with things. It is definitely difficult to deal with people, and it is difficult and cautious, so most designers or design companies are not willing to be exposed to too much human sophistication, which will make people become refined.
Furthermore, this is not a great achievement, nor can it earn a lot of money or fame. No matter how good the service is, we have to start over from scratch for the next design. This is not as good as public decoration. Past cases can lay a lot of foundation for the next negotiation.
I was chatting with a friend a few days ago and talked about something: design is originally a matter of serving a few people. You can’t satisfy everyone, just find the customers you want.
